We proudly offer courses that support music teachers in getting started with Apple technology in the classroom and focusing on four of the most renowned music software packages on the market today and setting up the equipment to support.

Getting started courses -

Day Workshops -


01 - Getting Started with Sibelius 7

01 - Setting up a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW)


 This course is a basic introduction to using  Sibelius, getting you set up and producing scores.
Topics in this course will include the following:
  • Creating the score
  • Adding instruments
  • Inputting the notes
  • Adding expression marks
  • Printing the score

02 - Getting Started with Logic X

This course is a basic introduction to using Logic X and getting you set up and producing music.
Topics in this course will include the following:
  • Creating a Logic X Project
  • Exploring the interface
  • Inputting MIDI
  • Setting up a software Instrument
  • Setting up and audio track
  • Apply effects to software Instrument and audio track
  • Quantizing
  • Navigating the mixer
  • Using automation
 This course is a basic introduction to using DAW and getting the most out of your system.
Topics in this course will include the following:
  • Setting up the equipment (Mac, Keyboard, Audio Interface, Microphone and Control Surface)
  • Navigating Logic X
  • Setting up a software instrument
  • Adding an audio track
  • Set up a Microphone for Voice and Guitar
  • Select and apply effects
  • Applying EQ to the mix
  • Adding automation
  • Creating  stereo mix down
This course is 6 hrs in duration with breaks included.

03 - Getting Started with Garage Band


This course is a basic introduction to using Garage Band, getting you set up and producing music and podcasts.
Topics in this course will include the following:
  • Navigating the interface
  • Setting up instruments
  • Working with Loops
  • Recording Audio
  • Creating a mixdown and Sharing

Booking Information (Getting Started Courses)

Getting started courses - This can be offered at your place of work within Kent/East Sussex (if you are outside this area please contact us directly).
Lasts for 3hrs at a cost of £75 for the visit and you will be supplied with learning resources on completion.
Please note if is this for a large group of people contact us directly for a quote.

Booking Information (Day workshops)
Day workshops - This course is 6 hrs in duration with breaks included and is £250 per person and will be delivered in a set location within London and the South East. This event will include a light lunch as part of the course cost.
